The Diploma in Typography has become a multidisciplinary space for discussion, knowledge interchanges, learning and development projects about typography, from the field of design. For the team of professors of the fifth version, typography is now an essential aspect of communication. Their presence dates back several centuries, and has been central to the universal culture. In the early twentieth century, it was also a key element in the recognition of a new discipline: the graphic design, and in recent decades has confirmed its importance in the new digital media, on we can call the information society.

The guest lecturer for this version was the typographer and editor Peter Bil’ak (Slovenia).

It was conducted between June and October, 2013 for 17 students.
