Creation of the User Information System for Transantiago, the new Public Transport System of Chile’s capital. The project included a complete study of practices and habits of the public transport users (passengers), and the gathering of information strategies used both in Santiago and other cities. The study’s goal was to define information instances that were convenient, relevant and useful for the new system’s passengers. Once the first version of the Graphic Standards Manual (GSM) was created, an experimental section of the transportation system was tested in order to make adjustments to visual and productive contents in the stylebook.
