For most readers, the fonts are neither understood nor effectively analyzed, but interpreted only as a tool that supports reading, despite its omnipresence around us. If this design remains transparent to the public, then how do we develop something that is invisible ?. At the conference “Sabon Next Project + Henderson Serif project”, the French typographer presented their projects Sabon Next and Henderson Serif, where he referred to historical research and developments to undertake the design of these typefaces.
In addition to these talks, Porchez guided the main workshop with corrections and exercises with students Diploma. Finally, had place a serie of conversations with teachers and interested in typography to discuss typographical projects and exchange point of views about the Diploma, sharing experiences and improving methods.
